Congrats Janna. Hopefully your wife will arrive soon. Thanks Sandip .
One thing I have noticed is that CIC immigration policy is as clear as mud. Janna's wife had to wait for couple of months to get the passport stamped. But that may not be applicable for others. Probably Sandip's passport will be arriving soon. I know a friend of mine got the passport stamped in 2 weeks.
Thanks guys.
Can we deposit the Paspport at Delhi in person and will it expedite the process. ??
Manasvi.
CHC Delhi does not accepts the passport in person it has to be send through mail only.
Good news guys.....My wife got her passport with Stamp and she is coming on thursday to canada.......
Yes. just one thing i want to tell you is Delhi immigrations give case status via email. i sent an email regarding my wifes passport and they replied me back in just 48 hrs that it was dispatch on 8th of march 2006 by register mail.
TimeLine :
Applied for Sponsor ship : 12th Dec 2005
Approval from mississauga : 13th Jan 2006
File transfer to Delhi office on 14th jan 2006
Delhi office start processing : 24th Jan 2006
Passport Requirements : 13th Feb 2006
Passport Sent : 15th Feb 2006
Return passport with Stamp : 11th March 2006
so total period of time almost 3months to get visa stamp.........i think thats reasonable time for Sponsor ship application atleaset better than 3 yrs for Parents.........
Good luck guys ....if any one need help with Sponsor ship applcation for Wife or Skill worker Category file from Buffallo Or Student visa extesion or Work permit Extension than just send me an email and i wil be happy to reply you as i passed through all of these procedures.
Thanks for the best support of CD team
