Anyone who completed medical from New Delhi but waiting for visa?

I have completed my medical on 26th july 2003. How much time it may take to issue the visa.
I have also submitted original PCC, ROLF, Proof of funds etc.
How much time approx it takes at New Delhi after medical ?
CHC, New Delhi has not demanded my original passport. Should I submit it or not.

Everyone's views are welcome.

Please avoid cross-posting. It is bad taste and delays things. Duplication never speeded up things. The latest news from New Delhi CHC is that people usually phone/fax & turn up in person for the same question ... and this is one major reason for delay. They have cancelled all personal enquiries.

PLEASE BEAR IN MIND, MOST PEOPLE READ THE POSTINGS DILIGENTLY. THERE'S NO NEED TO SPRINKLE THE FORUM WITH ONE POSTING!!!
