India Rainbow Community Services of Peel will be organizing a one day ‘Youth Forum’ with a theme centered on ‘Embracing Duality of Cultures’ to celebrate the conclusion of its Youth Leadership Project that was launched in July 2011. This event will feature inspirational talks, panel discussions, presentations and entertainment. During the event, participants will reflect on their experiences, and on challenges faced by South Asian youth and parents related to education, family conflicts and peer pressure. The hope is to empower youth to become more visible, responsible and effective leaders in the community.
