Hello Cd's,
Can you give me some information on the following. Even though we have OHIP, it does not take care of every expense ( esp. drugs are not covered )
For persons who are not covered like
A. Temporary workers
B. New comers
C. Students
D.Self Employed
E. Some companies have a waiting period for new employees to be eligible for benefits
I am sure a lot of desis have been or presently in the above categories . Can you give me any suggestions as to
1. What are the medical / drug plans available in the above circumstances
2. What is the range of monthly premiums we are looking at
3. Any companies / plans to avoid?
