I noticed people using it as C Sharp, never got a chance to work on it, but just wanted to know what people are really calling it.

They call it C sharp only (but write it as C-hash i.e. C#) it is almost a mix of C++ and JAVA. 
while the programm structure and do, while loops etc are same as C++. they functions should have full path name of the libraries as in Java, or the various libraries of funtions should be included in the begining of the programme to use functions as in standard C++.
But I'm still reseaching that after C, C++ and now C#. What holding the computer communinty from prodeening to D (D++), E(E++) etc...

Chele ji, I knew it, just wanted to see peoples opinion. If you are not in touch with that language and show that symbol to some people you will see mixed opinion.
BTW, do you know what that sharp is? That is not "hash", "pound", "number" (as we are using now in modern computer terms) but it is a music symbol!
