Does anyone know what the difference in timeline if someone apply for wife or if someone apply for husband, lets put it on that way,

1.if a canadian citizen filed for her husband from Asia (pakistan,or india) does anyone knows whats the current timeframe for that,

2 if a canadian citizen filling for his wife from asia (pakistan or india),Whats the timeframe for that,

i just wana know beacuse i heard from somone that its alot easier for bringing wife from outside canada rather then bringing husband,so is there anyone who can help me out here alteat any idea abt timeframe for both of them catagories ,one of my friend fixing to apply for his wife ,and my cousin fixing to apply for her husband soo thats why please help me out here
