My son will be going to grade 9 next year. Confused between Exploring technologies and Information and communication technology. At university level, he would prefer computer studies or sciences. So which to pick? Please advice, Thank you

Students need to complete a certain number of courses, do community service hours, and pass a literacy test. To graduate from high school and receive an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) students must: Earn 30 credits - 18 credits are compulsory.Oct 28, 2015

Graduation Requirements.:
Math: 4 credits, including Algebra I, II, Geometry and a fourth higher level math course (Students must be enrolled in a mathematics course each school year.)
English: 4 credits.
Science: 3 credits, including Biology, Chemistry or Physics, and a third lab course.

Please GO to the School and MEET with the Vocational Guidance Councilor or the Course co-ordinator and get the proper Credit materials and the classes that the Student needs to attend to get an ENTRY Into the Universities here in ONTARIO.

Is ur son in TDSB or Peel? My daughter just started grade 9 and she is with tdsb and she took Exploring Technologies as her credit and she loves it. Its like a hands on course and they learn to make stuff like robots, rockets and use of autocad and woodwork etc. If your child likes to make stuff then it might be a good course for him/her.
