I am looking for help in getting in touch with some catering service operating from home and not a restaurant, which can provide Dal ki Kachori (like Khasta Kachori) for a large party. Also some other gujrati snacks like Khaman, patra, handvi (or khandvi - the yellow rolls), paturi and the like.
I would like them to be either in Vaughan or Brampton or Markham or maximum Scarborough.
Anyone who has good personal experience with such a caterer, please provide reference.

try with Shriji Caterers at Brampton...Quality and quantity is good. We had a couple of events we order the food from them and was amazing. (specially Gujarati items)

Any specific reason why you wish to exclude restaurants ?
Amish catering is what I have heard about for Gujarati snacks catering (in Brampton). Never tried though.
Dal ki Kachori ... on a side note ... Sir kabhi mauka mile to Samosa & Sweet Factory kee try kariye ga
.... and with home made aloo tamatar kee subzi .... uff bhookh lag gayee

Try Bhakta foods, located @ Islington,and south of steels, they do catering for any number of persons, and they are good too. I have used for a party myself, and attended other parties where he has catered too. 4167434682(3005 islington ave )
