Hello Masoodji,

I am a international student and my family in US wants to buy property, house or land, in Vancouver on my name.

1. Is it legally possible for international students to buy property?
2. Will having a property help in gaining landed immigration status?

2. not in the skilled category. It may help in the business category in determining assets but simply having property in Canada is of no real benefit to iimigration application.
