My mother in law planning to visit us/Toronto from India this month end.
She had Heart Stroke and under medication from past 6 months.
Can any one suggest us About Health Insurance ..which company is better from Toronto

Please also search the charcha. One poster (may be Ashdefc) had written in detail about this.
Since your MIL has a preexisting condition (it is a miracle that she got the Canadian visa), it would be hard for any Health insurance company to cover it.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
Only ICICI covers pre existing illnes. I had to do it for my dad in 2009. Havent taken out insurance since them.

My parents are visiting next month. Can you share details on cost and coverage?
For my Mom with pre condition I have used following insurance companies
Manulife ,
Travelance
6 months visitor - For age above 65, it is $1382 with coverage for 150k , which i took from Travelance recently, Also quote was around $1160 for 100k. I went for higher amount.
for 60 and below it should be around $800 for upto 100k coverage.
All with 0 deductible.
For super visa I preferred manulife.

Its possible to get Visitor insurance to cover pre-existing condition . Make sure you have a underwritten policy, irrespective what agent say. This is what it means- you send all info to insurance company (covers lot of medical issues), medication description etc. Underwriter may request some documents from visitor's doctor as well (you need to provide that).Insurance underwriter will review the application and do a risk assessment. Based on this, quotation will be provided with in day or two. Keep in mind this is going to be expensive affair.
