A video clip showing an Aaj Tak anchor in conversation with Arvind Kejriwal is being circulated as part of a motivated campaign to malign Aaj Tak's reputation as an independent channel, which fearlessly broadcasts the truth. The Kejriwal interview was aired live in full on February 14 on all platforms of the India Today Group. In the conversation, Arvind Kejriwal is asking the anchor to highlight parts of the interview. The India Today Group wishes to categorically state that no part of the interview was edited by our network. The entire interview was telecast live.
Even during the repeat broadcast the entire content of the interview was carried unedited. Aaj Tak has maintained its lead as the most watched news channel in India for 13 years by upholding the highest standard of journalistic integrity. India Today Group does not believe that media should take sides or choose favourites. The India Today Group has subscribed to this philosophy for the last 38 years.

Heh heh heh heh...Delhi is playing out like Kiev. In Ukraine it was the restless 25 year olds who were in the forefront of the "revolution" and after the overthrow were expecting the EU and the Americans to bail them out with lots of freebies.
Sadly nothing good came of it, only worse. Putin ankal will eventually take over the good parts of Ukraine and leaving the unwashed parts for IMF to pick it to the bone. This is what happens when you have leaders with no vision and anarchists taking charge. They just do not know how to switch from activism to governance.
Similarly in Delhi, we have confused yuppies, jholawallas and slum dwellers leading the way for this Trojan horse, Kejriwal ankal. There won't be any milk and honey flowing after his election (nor will there be Ram rajya if Modi ankal gets elected, another subject).
Keep your expectations realistic and stop being thekedars for AAP. And no, I am not a sanghi or trust Modi/Modi-brigade either.

Do you think BJP is the best for the nation? List, what did they do the last time they came into Power? I know you will have it handy. In that event, my next question would be as to why did they lose the election then. Wasn't India shining? I would then go on to inquire how many bad policies and decision of Congress did they reverse? With how many tainted figures BJP had to shake hands with, and while you're at it, please provide if their reign was curruptionless and scam free as well? Oh Well! My scams are less in numbers than yours, no?
What's changed this time? Just Modi has crossed over from Gujarat to Delhi. I am sure his policies will be no different than the earstwhile BJP/RSS ones. Something else changed too - Vajpayi was much an estute Statesman, which Modi isn't. So, I have little hope with BJP despite of all the so-called Social Media brouhaha, and his (Modi's) hollow development crap. To me, Modi sounds like a boombox - noisy with little/no melody.
I still want him to be a PM (trust me) and form the Government, for then we will know his mantle. Things will be more clearer for all of us to see. We will then have a closer look at the Growth rate as well as the GDP. Thankfully, India is no Gujarat. Also, AAP in opposition will not be as spineless as BJP has been. Unless, of-course BJP won't lock them all up for the latter's truth speak.
Despite AAP's and Kejri's shortcomings, they have the guts to admit (on public platforms) that they too are not immune to make mistakes, and also did have their share of bad calls. Give me a single other party who admitted, despite of some very legitimate questions on their integrity in Public life? I have never heard. Elighten me if you ever did in the last 67 years.
I am all eyes and ears for India's politics, as the next 5 years would be more interesting than ever before. Who cares about Cricket and Bollywood anymore?

Now, in order to show some consistency, we also need to know how media is hand in gloves with other political parties, who funds them, runs the show, and what are the prevalent interest groups? If only AK had agreed for power fare increases to benefit the power distribution companies of Tatas and the Ambanis, he would have been hailed as the best ever CM of Delhi. Pandering to the whims and fancies of the corporates and the super rich has been the method people adopt to remain as ministers.
People should thank AK and their stars that no looting took place at least for 49 days.
It is turf war between the Maoists and the corporates for the looting of natural resources like coal and iron ore in tribal areas. The Congress and the BJP are falling head over heels in the name of elections to facilitate this loot and as to who should be the agent. It is only the innocent CRPF jawans who are getting killed by the dozen. The government and the ministers are not bothered. They can always get a fresh batch of recruits as landmine fodder.
The politicians and the business are only salivating as to how many 1000s of crores they can take to the tax havens.
