I think overall, the meeting was great success. It really is heartening to see that there are so many desis willing to volunteer their time for the community. I’m not sure of the official headcount but there were around 60 people present at the meeting which is almost twice that of the last meeting. And I have no doubt that there will be even more people at the next one. Cheers!

Hi all CDs.

At last I could make it. I landed in canada. I just landed on 22nd May.
Well, The entry was very smooth and thnks to CD for preparing me for post landong activities. I could finished all procedures like SIN card, Health card, Account opening in bank, Registration at HRDC for job hunting and liabrary registration etc..

But in doing all these missed a great opprtunity. Yes missed the CD meeting. All I knew was meeting to be held in end of May. After that got busy in preparation forflying. ANd after landing got busy in procedures so much so that I could visit Cd only today.

And to the greatest grief I found that meeting was on 5th june when I was very much here in town.

ANy way better luck next time. Congrats to all seniors for second scceful meeting.

And thanks to all of them for helping me out for bringing me closer to you. Now I am in search of job. But first I will have to get my SIN card. Or is it true that you can get booked before SIN card. Anyways let me try my luck.

Will come back soon. As right now I have to do job search
