well folks:

i see everyone feels comfy with the info, however, 99% of the people end up with disappointment in securing the "easy loan".
if any of you happens to experience disappointment, don't forget i am still here to help everyone out.

astalavista!!

Guru ji:

I am still in India and planning to make a landing next month with my family.

Some friends of mine seem to think I am enterprising and are suggesting I tie up with them and get into a small business alongside a job. They are in touch with suppliers of good quality/designer household linen and furnishings (like bedsheets, towels, cushion covers, etc) and are suggesting that I coordinate with importers in Canada. Do you think this would be a good enterprise? Suppose I start on a small scale and see how it goes? I would appreciate your comments since I know nothing about the business scene in Canada. I also have some contacts for artificial jewellery and home-made masalas.

Looking forward to your comments.

Hi guru420,

Just read your first posting. I appreciate your motivation and life goal.

I am 200% agree with you and holding same feeling, My ultimate goal
and reason for coming Canada is not to 'grab a job' but something more than that.

Cheers
Raj

when i posted this help offer, there were quite a smart asse*s showing impatience and criticizing me and my style. i wonder what if i had told those specific ones to drop dea*d and i am under no obligation to offer any kind of help?

the epitome is that we end up creating a RIFT among our own guys, and u all know what that leads to.

our GURU's always taught us to be "patient" because it has its own rewards especially for those "smart alecs".

if u "never give up" it will always lead u 2 suscess, provided u make "the right move" . the market are flooded with these items what u have in mind. i know few people who r doing quite well out of those imports. even i have a stiffer competition in my engineering area.

Thanks Guruji.

Time is rather short since I am planning to arrive next month, but would you please suggest some items that are not so common in the Canadian market, which I could check on before I leave? I would appreciate your suggestions.

Regards, Margo

Hi All
Good day!

I am new to the website and have been absorbing whatever has been written here.

I came across this thread by Guruji420 and read and reread the posts.

I have been to the website...www.grants-loans.ca and it is genuine. In fact I have been thinking of using the services of this agency to make my own plans for sometime now.

To really make it happen, I have been pursuing my MBA from Montreal and have been making an all out effort to see that I am ready for any eventuality when I graduate out.

Meanwhile, I realise that there are a few fellow partners who have been thinking of making business plans. I am hereby offering my services to all the individuals interested and will like to help whosoever is interested for nominal amount of fee-- which would cover my cost of inputs ( like printing out the stuff and very basic remuneration level that can be mutually decided upon).

And please do be positive about it. I have already received funding from Canadian Government for my grauduation ..... and no it is not student loan so I know what it means to have received additional inputs to pursue your dreams.

For small business owners there is another way to achieve funding.....if you can save upto $1500 in one year, government will give you $4500 for free to invest in the business( it is called matching grant for the business) and anyone planning to get a small van or truck for business can use this money.... it is one of the several ideas i have been toying with for sometime now.

I realise that there are many sceptics out there but do believe me when I say that it can be done and it can be achieved.....only a good business plan will help.

Or is there any one who wishes to be my partner... ready to invest some money in the business.

Please post.

Thank you for your time and effort.

With regards.

V PANDIT
