I would like to know what are pros and cons of buying a natural gas stove as compared to electric ones. Does home insurance rates go up if you buy a natural gas stove or does it present higher risk of a fire in a house?

Cons :
1. You MUST install a high CFM exhaust fan in your kitchen in order to get all CO out produced by gas burning appliance .
2. If you have little kids , they can accidently turn on the Gas knobs if knobs are not located on top of your range .
Other than these two , I cannot think of other cons .

Pros :
1. Cheaper to operate
2. Food taste is better
3. Saves time by cooking faster
4. You dont have to change your heating coil once a while .

Insurance rate doesn't go up with the gas range .
If used wisely it is not a fire hazard .
