I m canadian citizen, I sponsored my exWife Feb2009, it endedup in June 2010. my Question if I marry in Pakistan, do I need to wait till 2012 to apply. or I need to postpond my marriege till 2012.

Will it be any trouble of I marry now, and apply for sponsor later in 2012.

Normal processing time for Spousal sponsorship is 3 months..

In ur case this 3 months could easily turn to 2 to 6 years...

The CIC purposely puts such cases on the backburner and raise every possible verification and check to ensure no fraud has happened..

I know quite a few in Brampton who have done false marriages to come to canada and are not waiting for over 3 years to get their new and real spouse sponsored over. Their files are hanging for ever..

please verify with CIC, but i think based on your details (I sponsored my exWife Feb2009, )- so basically you cant put other file before Feb 2012
