Hi, keep looking for best deal, we bought our laptop in December 2010 from Stapples. It is i5, 640 gb hard drive, 4gb ram, 15.6", it is good machine from Accer, it was $499.00 plus hst and total was about $575.00 app.

yesterday i brought Lenova IdeaPad Y460 for CAD 55O from craigslist. it is 2 months old. it has warranty till January 2012. i am just wondering it is a good deal or not? Gurus may pls comment

Recently I was quite surprised by a nice new laptop at Futureshop: it was acer with 15.6" led-backlit screen, ATI HD 4650 video chip, 640 GB HDD, TRIPLE-core AMD phenom processor, 4 GB RAM... it was lightening fast! I ran large files (7600 page PDF with 136 MB size, and some graphics heavy CorelDraw files). It's price was 398 bucks + tax. Tried to buy two units but they rejected, saying one unit limit per household. Went back a couple hours later (close to closing time) and snatched another one too! These days they have the same laptop here (in NB) for 550 bucks. Anyways, was a great deal and look out for this....
