Hi CD friends,
Has any of our Cd friends installed the "tankless water heater "
This is advertised heavily in the "SUN" newspaper daily
Reading the ads appear convincing assuming the facts they state is true
Any feed back from any of you friends.PLEASE SHARE YOUR VIEWS

The technology is fairly new in Canada and not very successsful YET due to several reasons .
TWH can be ONLY installed on outer wall of the house
One of the biggest trouble is to find the qualified technician and spare parts . Secondly if you live in a old house with 1/2' copper plumbing , you might not be able to optimize its use . Pls also note that min. size requirement for gas line is 3/4
Pls do a good math of savings Vs. investment .
If you need any specific information , pls feel free to contact me .

my friend has rental unit in his 3 years old house. On an average there is one call to the Reliance as all off sudden hot water would stop coming. The technician comes and clean the unit and it starts again. Very sensitive.
