I brought it at Best Buy ... Its a Coby($80/-) .
But you can get a cheaper one at angelelectronics http://ftasatellitedishreceiver.com/ota_over_the_air (Dixie and Matheson) for $50/- . I hope it should perform the same but there are no returns .

ATSC convertor box is needed only for non ATSC tuner TV s ... (read slightly old) .... mine is a 2006 and still did not have one .
Try pointing the antenna towards CN Tower from with in your room and see if that brings results . Like I said , for me the rabbit ears are performing better then the silver streak ...
I will try more on the weekend and post an update ....For others who are using OTA successfuly , please share information .

OK here its - its Friday evening and I can't wait to write this update .
After the rabbit ears and the silver streak antennas , I tried an outdoor antenna today from angelelectronics.com ($30/-) along with their digital analog converter box ($50/-) .
The results are astonishing ! We live in an apartment and the balcony faces N West . I am getting 20 channels ......... 15-16 of them unbelievably clear ... all HD reception ............ including Global / Fox / Omni1 / Omni2 etc ........... In fact the channel combination is better then what I was getting with Rogers .
I will exchange the antenna for a Channelmaster ($50/-) and install the antenna ........ as of now its in the room , on a chair an despite of that the reception is crystal clear . I will also return the other stuff and do not advise others of the indoor antennae .......
I recommend this to everyone ........... There s no need to pay $50/- per month to Rogers / Bell ....

What brand is your OTA antenna. and is it available from anyplace other than angelelectronics. also I have a 42 inch Panasonic plasma so I do not think I will need the converter box. Is that right?
Hi .
The link for Angel Electronics is http://ftasatellitedishreceiver.com/ota_over_the_air . Here you can see the different FTA antennae they are selling . I have tried the $30/- and now the Channelmaster (50/- ) I feel that the $30/- one gave me better performance .
I don't think you have to go to Angel Elec . You can find these antennae in your area as well .
Well you have to confirm with your TV specs if it has an ATSC tuner ... mine is a 2006 CRT model and still didn't have one .
