I guess we will see more and more articles now on this topic. Though the author put things in nice perspective you can see the hidden agenda.
At one place he writes

I guess even after two election victories and 7 years of rule of Modi, yet the outsiders are not able to understand Modi and Gujarat.

His communal speeches and his role in instigating mobs to go on a killing spree in 2002 talk for themselves. That's evidence enough for any sane person to doubt his capabilities as a secular leader.

Remember the communal riots stopped in just three days. Narendra Modi called Army immediately and that was the time took army to get deployed on the ground.
Just after six months of Godhara, Akshardham happened it was a pure Terrorist attack on the biggest Hindu sect in Gujarat. Not a single incident of violence.
Please learn to appreciate.

Many diaries will tell you what happened in those three days. It was a total failure of governance while the hooligans were having a time of their life. I've stumbled upon some of his speeches on the internet and it made me sick to my stomach listening to them. You said it, it was a terrorist attack. Why do you think anyone did a favor to the minorities by not attacking them after the attack. Your statement, "Not a single incident of violence" implies that.
