I live in NY,USA on H1B and I just got my canada PR, As I have to land canada by next month, so my question is, Can I show my USD Bank statement as fund availability while landing first time ?.

I would 2nd Patrick.. WHY NOT. As far as you ensure, you've enough funds (converting it to equivalent currency).. it should be considerable.

My experience : Immigration officers, did ask, if I have sufficient / minimum funds and didn't bother to take a look at it when I said Yes.
