Question on filling IMM0008 Background Declaration

Hi.

In IMM0008, Schedule 1 Background Declaration, there is section where personal details of father/mother are required to be filled in. In case if parents are born in Pakistan before partition but moved to India during partition, then what should be written in Country of Birth?

1. Pakistan
2. Undivided India
3. Any other thought...

What do their passport indicate as the country of birth? I would go with that.

Applicants have often filled it as Pakistan(Undivided India) and it has been understood clearly by the visa officers.
