It's pathetic that goons and criminals are the one's running the wheels of democracy in our country. How on earth could the law allow criminals serving time for murder to participate in trust vote? Talking about Rs. 25 Crore, is there any accountability for the source of such a huge sum? The Indian tax payer is nothing but a puppet in the hands of these shameless rulers whose tax payments are directly diverted to the sagging pockets of these politicians.

I don't see any reason for the UPA govt. to spend so much money and effort to rope in the damn votes as they have to face the elections in 2009 anyway. But then they would adopt different tactics to seduce the ignorant poor by providing free food and gifts. All i can see is greed, lust for power, selfishness, short sightedness and ignorance among our rulers. Way to go India and thanks to our netas for taking us back to the stone age in terms of civilized governance.

Manmohan Singh is a man of intellect , no doubt, but what he lacks is political wisdom. I fail to understand why a man of his stature would succumb to these crooks who have time and again projected him as a puppet!
I feel he would be better off as a finance person ..in ministry or anywhere else!
