My parents will be applying for Visitor visa from VFS centre in Mumbai. I am sending them below documents;

a) Invitation Letter

b) Employment Letter

c) Photocopies of Passport and Permanent Resident Card

d) Bank Statements

e) Income Tax papers

In addition to the above and the application forms, will they need any additional documents from Canada. Also, please advice if any of the above documents need to be notarized.

You have done a good job with the check list for the visitor's Visa for your Parents.

Please make sure that you have good photocopies of the PR Card, and BOTH sides of it copied.

Relevant page of your Passport for their requirements.

Also please point to your Parents about the size and quality of the Passport pictures that they have to submit, and impress upon them that they need not smile for these. I don't see the appropriate page to quote, and hence it may be a pouch that they provide with the forms and so look for it too.

Please provide your Parents with the same check list that you have made here and ask them to verify against the same list and add the pictures and the fees too, to the list, prior to mailing.

You have it all covered now. Just keep your fingers crossed and wait for another month.

P.S. I still can't figure out what it is that I did 50 years ago when I submitted mine. Those days there were no Zerox machines to make and maintain any copies. (May be one in Rochester?)
