Dear CD friends,
My parents are coming here on 15th on a visitor VISA for 6 months. I was wondering if they would be interviewed by the officer at the Toronto airport? If yes, then what kind of questions are asked?
Please reply.
Regards,
VJ.
Normal routine is things like where will you be staying, who are you visiting, for how long, what you will be doing, etc.
Elderly visitors are usually not questioned as much as single, young visitors.

My parents are visiting next month.
At port of entry(Toronto), does the officer decide & write the expiry of stay while stamping, based on the return ticket date?
Does the visitor need to show the return ticket?

Quote:I don't know if there is a rule that says they can, or can't - but in my observation they have never.
