Can somebody please help me or guide me

Hi,

I am working in USA on H1B visa in Detroit for past four years and my wife is with me on H4 visa. We became landed immigrant of Canada (in Windsor) on 15 march 2003. We got our ties stablished in Canada in the form of PR Card, SIN and bank Accounts.

After that we moved to USA as I working here on H1B visa. My wife had delivery in USA in september and we had twin babies.

My questions are:

1. I learnt that Canadian Immigrant can stay outside Canada for three years in a five year period. My concern is whether I will be denied for the access in Canada if I go after two years, when I have not informed any canadian official that I am living outside Canada.

2. As I lived only in USA in 2003 and I went to Canada for few days for Landed Immigration; what are my tax liabilities in Canada. And whether I have to do some different filing in USA as I am Canadian Immigrant and how do file taxes in USA and Canada.

3. My both the babies are American; do I have to include them in Canadian taxes when they have no documents from Canada.

Can somebody please help me or guide me.

Canadian IT is based on global income. I am quite sure they would want their share though you do not live in Canada. Why do not you speak to H&R Block office in Windsor. For 70-80 Canadian you would get good advice on your IT matters.

If you are not satisfied, why do not you get in touch with Revenue Canada directly. I also believe that you need to inform the Canadian authorities the birth of your children. Speak to immigration guys at Windsor.

For your SIN card, bank accounts, etc. do you have a Canadian Address? not PO Box?
