Hey All
This is my third post in this site, afraid no one answered my query in my previous two post. I am planning to enroll at George Brown Toronto, for their 1 yr PG Business Managment Certificate course(without co-op). I've got 2 yrs work experience in India's booming BPO business. Any suggestions/comments on my choice of college and also can I hope to find a job after I land since my work ex is with US based Payroll for Bank of America and Mortgage processing for a company in Maryland. Appreciate your response. Thanks in advance.

I have been here in Canada for over 4 years now but never heard of the institute you have mentioned.... Is this good info?

There are so many Browns / Whites / Blacks (not counting Tom / Dick / Harry) colleges - check the ratings tables at a good reputable website

If you are planning to join any college for real study than check the ratings. You might be surprised that no body answered your question about college. People are so stupid that they don't know about the college?

No dear. Here we have such colleges in each Chauraha - Like paanvaala.

If you just want to use it for a pad to enter in Canada and later stay here with work permit than better have an agent.

Thanks a ton for your candid opinion really appreciate it. Well yes it does makes sense about no one answering my question about colleges. But the way Canadian college market themselves in India and the wonderful portal they hold kind of lures everybody. Well I'm interested in relocating to Canada and immigration is a slow babugiri process in India. From all that I've read in this portal about jobs in Canada is the younger you're the earlier you can strike the hammer coz it takes time to settle there. Earlier my intention was to use the college as my pad to Canada and immigration but I've always had my doubts on it. Can you please explain to me which agents are you referring to????. Also advise on the zillions of recruiters who're promising guaranted jobs in Canada charging anything between 2500-4K USD should I try/approach them????. Appreciate your opinion and response. Thanks in advance

hello Ramesh,

It is not only the way Canadian Collegees market themselves in India and the wonderful portal they hold..................even the govt of Canada does the same. And so not only the colleges, but even the govt is able to lure everybody in India. and that is the truth.

So what would be your reaction now.......you wanted to go the study route to come into Canada using a "wonderfully sold college" - but would you like to rethink about the "wonderfully sold Canada"?

Let me telll you one thing - these North Americans can be the ideal people to learn marketing techniques from. As they say, these guys here are capable of selling a refrigerator to an eskimo, or a comb to a baldhead.

So take your time and study the reasons why you would like to migrate to Canada? No it is not bad to migrate here - there are dozens of good reasons to migrate from India to Canada, but just do not get fooled by the wonderful advertising done in India for Canada. List up your priorities and desires and compare them against your strengths and perseverence power, and then take a decision.
