HI i have sent spouse application along with 975 landing fee and 550 processing fee on may 1st and they received on 3rd may.But now it is close to 6 weeks, and i have not get any reply from them.What should i do?.I tried to chack eclient application .But it saying wrong information.
Can i call them? will they give any information?.
Usually every body saying it takes just 45 days to get spouse visa.But it is already 6 weeks now and no reply from immi.
What should i do?

If your eCAS is showing wrong information then you better call them and they will tell you what they are processing right now. They will give you information like..."We are processing files which we received on so and so date" ... that will give you some idea...


As per my understanding it take 3-5 months for spousal visa depending on visa officer...

i aggree with bouy...why dont you call the cic call centre and ask them .

Normally it takes atleast 40 - 45 days to receive a reply from CIC-M after you submit your application. This reply is not final approval, it just says whether you are eligible to sponsor your spouse PR or not.

They are right now processing May 1, 2006 applications and it takes around 53 days (including 10 day mailing period). You should receive a reply from them soon.

Anyway, you can always call CIC call center and find out where your application is.

Thankful to all of you ,who replyed.Today i called them.they told me same thing what i seen in the cic web site that they are processing now april 25 applications.
