Just finished reading The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. Great book, gives you a true perspective of Afghani life and the turmoil they have seen through the years. Can't wait to see the movie.

Hi Aashu,

I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did...although it is really sad in some parts. I'm reading "Veil of Roses" by Laura Fitzgerald right now.

I have been yearning to read The Kite Runner. Is it depressing? I think the movie was already released in GTA.

Reading 'The Interpretation of Murder' by Jed Rubenfeld. Pretty good read so far.

It is a strong book. Very well written. Could be depressing.

Also, read the latest by the author, Thousand Splendid Suns. This one is much stronger. Revolves around the lives of two Afghan women who get married off in their teens to men much older to them.
