I have a diploma in Computer Science from NIIT (India). I also have 3 years teaching experience in India (Biology) but no B.Ed degree.

What is the qualification required to get a teaching job in Computers in a Canadian Secondary School?

Teaching any subject in Canada usually requires a B.Ed degree. But I checked the University of Victoria website -- there is no B.Ed degree offered with specialisation in IT (like there are in other subjects).

Does anyone know if the B.Ed requirement is waived in Canadian Schools for those teaching Computers?
