Ash,

I agree that the CIC has covered their butts on all accounts at our cost....However, filing a legal case is possible...at least for "harassing and torturing seniors"....on "Human Rights"...also just because they mention that they do not guarantee a visa is ridiculous and can be argued in any court...why should they have an immigration system in place if they cannot guarantee a visa...refusal has to be on some grounds...otherwise they have to issue a visa...I am sending a PM...please reply...I am anxious on this issue..Thanks

You are going back to stone age.....have sent in more than 150 different communications through e-mails, mail, fax and phone calls...u think anyone replies...no one does..the guys at the Immigration are not bothered about either you or your parents...they are bothered about the fees they get and their individual salaries

................Application 2002 [first Half ]
................interview Nov.2005 AT CHANDIGARH
Q-1 Are there any cases of 2002 who still waiting for decision ?
Q-2 When did Chandigarh consulate begin to carry Family class processing [interview , medical , visa etc.] ?
Q-3 How long do they take.....[.. to send medical papers , call to Submit Passport ,issue visa etc.] after conducting Interview ?
PLEEEEEEEEZ HELP ME TO BREATH A BIT EASY AS WE ARE ALREADY CRUSHED BY SO LONG WAITING WE HAD UNDERGONE....
Moreover i could not find anyone having some experience of chandigarh office processing timeline.........THANX.

hey people....

No we cant sue anyone, they'd clear out everybody else's passports leaving yours behind. i agree with Janmeja, we cant afford to be on their hitlist. NEVER.

we're waiting for family class immigration with our passports and medicals sent over 8 months now. but we really dont have a solution exept waiting. Imagine living without your passport for 8 months!!The authorities dont reply to any faxes, calls or reminders.

and i fail to understand what takes them so long to just "stamp" the passports. Its really frustrating, sumprit! reachash,
u're lucky that atleast your parents got their passports back...something is better than an endless wait.
