Hi,
I do not have any Software Testing experience other than doing Unit Testing and giving an interview for a QA Job.
I think, it is a good idea to install tools like LoadRunner & WinRunner and learn how to use them. Also, if you can learn about Automated Testing - I think, it is done thru a Rational Tool (Rational Robot) - that will be very good.
Questions like how to trace a Requirement to its Test Case may be asked other than the standard types of testing.
I am sure, you will find a very good job in Toronto. Apply for both Private as well as Govt jobs.
