Hi, I have almost completed documents for my wife according to the checklist. there is only one thing bothering me in application to be filled by spouse (Appendix A for Residents of Pakistan. It is asking for 9 Photos of each of the family member + Original Brithcertificate (make sense) + All Documents must be in originals ????
Meanning all educational stuff as well ?
I spoke with several people and they advised me to not send original educational documents because they are not required (make sense because it is not stated in the check list that all should be originals) . I am getting puzzle and confused about these 2 issues.
Can some one please help ?
thanks

You dont need to submit originals for degrees, except for Police Certificates.
Hi,
I also had the same kind of confusion for my husband's application as he is also from Pakistan. You do not need photographs for all of your wife's family members unless you are sponsoring them as well. If not, then just include 9 recent passport size photos of your wife. As for the documents, make sure you get a certified english translation of all documents whose originals are written in urdu. These have to be stamped by a notary but you do not need to send the originals as photocopies will suffice. But the translation bit is important especially for passports, shinakhti cards, birth certificates, nikaah nama and other forms of ID. Police certificates must be originals. Sending originals of education documents is really upto you, but please make copies for your records if you do decide to send originals.
Also, make sure you make photocopies of everything you are sending to the immigration office for processing, including the application forms! You might need it to refer to when it comes to the interview.
