Inviting comments from IT professionals reg. the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Certification

Do you know of any one who has their CISSP Certification.

Based on your experience, how is it viewed in the industry.

No kidding, CISSP is a coveted certification that all experienced IT guys want, atleast in US. Definitely gives you a sharp edge over others. However like I told you it should be backed with solid work experience. I can get a certificate (CISSP/MCSE/etc) by spending 15-20 K but thats useless for me.
