I know many people discourage going the route of renting out a condo/house because f many hassles but I wonder if there is any viabale option for even 5% ROI.
example
Person A buys a cheap 2 room condo for $100K and rents it out. if he just makes $500/month after condo fees/other maintenance charges, he still managed a ROI of more than 5%
Same money left to rot in GICs/Savings account etc actually end up lower in value after a year taking into account inflation etc.
So what are other other avenues one can garner over 5% ROI?
