I'm from kerala and working in a hotel locally. I have been recently approached by a recruitment agency in Quebec region Canada, name successfulimmi.ca. They have recruited me for Anderson Hotels & Suits (www.andersonhotels.ca). Address of the hotel mentioned as "1554 Rue Peel, Montreal, QC H3A 1S4, Canada)" phone 1 514 664 8670.
The recruitment agency is located at :
Prof. Success Mavin
Successful immigration Agency
5, complexe Desjardins Montréal (ville de),
Qc, Qc, H5B 1E9
+1 514 448 8389
I got suspicious because they have offered me employment contract without any interview, not even any discussion. Now they are asking to deposit money in their lawyers account in India to apply for Certificate of acceptance and then subsequently for work permit.
I would be grateful to you if you can highlight around the genuineness of these agency/hotels if you are aware of. This will help me avoiding getting victimized in case of any scam here.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
It is a scam. There are a lot of people who in Canada itself canot find jobs.
There was another lady in your situation 2 years ago who asked CD for help and we found that it was a scam.
This scam is to lure you to pay money and use their services. They will apply without the offer letter and it will be luck if you get the number of points. (however it is another story that you can apply yourself).
Canada accepts even low grade people and hence anyone can get in (if they achive the required number of points for immigration).
This is a scam to take extra money from you.
Donot be surprised, if midway they say that your application was rejected (as you may not have got the required amount of points).
I live in Tamil Nadu and have seen scams like this. PM me your phone number, if you want me to give you any further advise. I was living in Canada for 9 years.
Peace

Nigerian scam, lottery scam, telephone scam, employment scam....how can you still believe in all these offers?
This is clearly a scam. You cannot expect to be hired in Montreal without knowledge of French.

Hello,
Unfortunately due to legal reasons we cannot guarantee whether this is a fraud or not. We do suggest that you never send money upfront to receive a job in another country. Suspect companies will usually ask for money either by Western Union or Money Gram due to the fact that they are untraceable cash transfers so please be aware of this. If you have any other questions or problems, please don’t hesitate to contact our office.
