Mrs Khanna & ashedfc
We have approached SC again and told them we are not satisfied by their reply that they can't help in this matter. I called up CRA and CRA also said we can't help in this matter.
If SC again replies in negative then of course we will have to approach the labor department/ MP.
I wanted to get the matter settled amicably because I have a fear in my mind - fear of that Iraqi guy/employer's husband, trying to harm my wife when he gets penalized by some authority. The guy is extremely short tempered and very rude. Did I tell you that when my wife approached him for the second time, he tried to snatch the papers he gave already and tried to tear them into pieces and shouted-don't show me your face again. We are dealing with a very irrational person here.
Yes Mrs Khanna we are thinking of working extra hours to make 100 hours before Aug end but I have another concern now. I AM NOT SURE IF THE EMPLOYER WILL EVEN SUBMIT THE ROE WITH SC EVER ! I mean he might just not deposit anything. SC says he has 2 months to deposit. What if he does not deposit ?? We have the copy he gave us.
My friend's employer did not deposit any ROE to SC even if he was with him for 3 years and now there is a court case.
Mrs Khanna it seems you are an employer yourself and by gods grace well settled in Canada. Pls help us with as much info as possible in this case. We just got married 2 years ago and have invested all that we had in this PR dream and we don't have a plan B.
Can't bear the fact that a mad man can destroy it after 2.5 years of hard work and staying separately.
My wife has to apply for SINP, Get SINP, Apply for PR and get work permit extended before 31st Dec 2012.
Thanks !
Thanks Bhalochele. I work in HR. We are required to follow the rules to the T..... Which is why I am surprised they have refused to help you...
1. An ROE has to be submitted to SC by the employer.
2. Your wife was given an ROE but none was sent to SC
3. Yet, when you approached SC, they refused to help you
4. Even the CRA has refused to even look into the matter
5. The employer is clearly not scared of any consequences
To be honest, something is not right..... My own experience is that employers are terrified of SC and CRA and usually follow the law..... The SC does call and verify if approached by an employee....
