Hi ,

I had applied for immigration to Canada under Skilled worker category during Nov 2006 from Mumbai, India.

I want to know approx time required for my turn to appear for interview.

Moreover, I need to appear for IELTS so as to know my points. As the test result is valid only for one year, I dont know when to appear for the test. I am in a fix because if I appear now & it takes more than a year to process my file, that I would need to reappear again.

Can you please help me so that I am ready for the necessary documents when I am called for interview?

Thanks in advance.

There is a website posting in Canadian Desi, that monitors the system as your application progresses. In that location they post the movement of their files from the date of application. There they mention all of the details from the start. You have to find that location. Post your dates etc., and keep pace with it. They also have other priorities. See what they are. Post yours too, which is IELTS and see what the response you get from the others. It will be in your best interests to locate that place and exchange your views.

In the link below you get to know the time taken to process. It does change from time to time. Also the New Immigration intake process has kicked in. I would monitor it like a hawk, if I were you and note the progress of the files.

Success for each one of you depends upon the education and the skill set that you possess. You have to be in the right place at the right time. If you are a Doctor or an Engineer, then you stand a very good chance to get in. Progress for others, could be monitored, if you join a group and do it all by your selves, separately.

Only you can keep a watch on your requirements, so be alert at all times. It Pays.

Hope this helps a little.

Why?

Read through this.

http://www.canadiandesi.ca/read.php?TID=20640&page=1#119564

"Please don't tell the Immigration Officer that you are just coming in and staying in Canada for six weeks". If you tell them that they will send you back.

Your $3000.00 would suffice. But do bring in tangible proofs with bank statements and other proofs with a list of assets. You should have it in case they ask you for it.

"Tell him that you are moving in for good and you are going to make a life for yourself and your family here in Canada"

They will stamp your Passports and then let you in. You apply and get your PR Card.

Now you you have a "FREE PASS" to enter Canada any time for the next five years.

You can change your mind and go anywhere you want to. Return back anytime you want to, they don't have to know anything! (But Don't forget "The Big Brother is Watching you.!! After 9 - 11, everyone's movements are monitored.)

Asking for guidance and help surely pays. This, sure, would help you.

Freddie.

Hey All,

I did searched for tracking software & found CAIPS software which does charge to track the application. Does anyone here knows any other site apart from CAIPS?

Pls advise. Thanks :)

Nikhil
