Hello all...

Again this question is posed to all the knowledgable members of CD and the experts in an attempt to brain storm ideas and help all the needy (and less informed) people out there (and me for sure).
The questions are...
1. What does one need to get a Canadian Work Permit or Visitor's Visa? Both in terms of documentation as well as process...
2. Do they require somebody to sponsor? In case they do, any leads on it?
3. Which is easier (in case of qualified and in case one is less qualified)? Getting a Work Permit or getting a Visitor's Visa?
4. How long and lengthy a process is it (both of in terms of time and processing)?
5. What are all the documentations that are required?
It would be highly appreciated if one were to explain or describe in detail as doing to a 21 year old kid or to a lay-man.

As always, thanks in advance...

where are you located????
it also depends what profession you are in? and if there is employment available to suit/ match your skills and profile.HRDC needs to be convinced that this type of skill is not available locally before they can a approve / grant a permit for overseas skill. ( this is the work permit).

All you need is a company to make you an offer if they they convinced that you are asset and cannot find any canadian ( I dont think so, But try..... good luck.

you are not eleigible to work under a visit visa.. you just have visitation rights, you need a sponsor ( preferably a close blood relative) with permanent employment, pay taxes, has good bank balance to support you

refer to http://www.cic.gc.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK for more details.

do your research first.
