My wife and I are both getting the same points. So which one of us should be the principal applicant, is what i am wondering.
1) I draw a higher salary than her, her's is irregular and low
2) I am employed full time, she is employed part-time (both of us have over 4 years of experience)
3) But, she has got 15 years of education, I have just 13 (cuz my BA degree was thru correspondence)
4) But, HER sister is settled in Canada, therefore my sister in law
5) Our bank funds which we plan to show, are in her name
So what should we do? Does she become the prinicpal applicant, or me? Or it really doesn't matter, since we are getting the same points (I assume)?
Please advise.
ou can be main applicant. both your qualifications wil;l be considered. they always prefer to have 2 professionals come in together. I think you have a strong case. her sister will also count coz she is your reletive too
best of luck .
who should be principal applicant??
correspondense education is not recognized by the cic...as far as i know.....part time jobs could be problem...better consult a lawyer....
Hi Son-of-India,
Thats what I was thinking. The fact that a degree thru correspondence would not be recognized. But I do have it attested and notarized in India and the UAE, and I also have the marksheets and id papers to prove that I did give the exams. Do u think it would still not be accepted??
Also I am currently in a full time job. My wife is the one who is a part-time worker.
So I have the long distance final year, but a full time job. She has a normal university degree (not long distance) but is working part-time since 2005. (before that was employed full time for nearly 5 years, same job?
What say u??
