Hi everyone,

Though this is my first mesage, i am a regular reader of this forum and find it to be very informative.

We are planning to land during the last week of March 2006 and are flying out from Muscat.

Our first concern is about a temp accomodation. I have read about sunny newcomers and seen the ads of the other guest houses. To decide, i would like to have feedback from people who have stayed in these places. We have also been advised by friends to stay at Ports Hotel, Missisauga.

We feel it will be better to stay in toronto initially, preferably closer to the downtown for job hunting and also to complete all the initial formalities like SIN, PR etc. Is this OK?

I might seem to be in a bit of hurry on the accomodation, but you all will agree that as iam travelling with my family, i feel it is essential to stay in a good, safe place.
