I called local Mp but of no use. can i sponsor them on visitor visa for 6 months. atleast they can come and visit us. is there any hope of visitor visa. please advise. thanks to all.

Chances of Visitor visa are weak as they have already applied PR. Visitor visa is only possible if they can prove that they would go back to India after their authorized stay. However, it doesn't hurt to try as it doesn't effect their immigration process.

Still awaiting....I have filed from Januaray 2003....
And also some candaindesi post says...2000 file is also not clear..
I have hear from MP's secreatory..it will be more dealy for new application.
http://www.canadiandesi.ca/read.php?TID=2651
Let me give you best example..
When I have applied it was taking only 1 year...but then they have so many files pilled up in immigration.. so for delhi immigration office was very simple...they have send general letter from saying..'wait for 18 months..from today's date(june2003)......
then again..in September..I got reply...'wait for 18 months..from today's date(sept. 2003)...
I went to lawyer, MP's everywhere..they told me..just wait from sept.2003 to 18 month.. but I said then why they send me on June 2003...so should i wait from june 2003 18 month .. or sept..2003
They told me from sept..2003 ..18 month..then i ave ask them ..may be now you will send me another letter..we have more file pilled before you..and it will still take another 18 month..means today (sept..2004)..what I should do? nothing..just agree..
so it's not in our hand.. timeline immigration depart. decide on their own depend on policy + how many files are before you..in priority..so keep on waiting...
I got answer from MP's it will going to be 5-7 years...and more policys are going to come for parent immigration for pention plan etc...believe me canadina is not happy to bring your parent as they will not give big part for canadian economy.
But when young person come from different country, canada have not spend anything behind their education, expense..etc. from your child hood .until you are young app.. 25-30..age.. so they are getting free without investing anything in education, who is going to now give big part in their economy to buy home, car...etc...so they like you.
but your parent is now become expense for them..a real medical expense..who is may be not able to work after 10 years..because of their ..age.. so it's just unwanted medical expense..and already they are having big problem in medical system..so !! you understand their policy why everything is late..
and ya..for all they have very good big reason..for security ...sept.11...we are late.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If processing time goes beyond 20 years for parent's immigration, nobody has dare to challenge Canadian Government. If Government increase taxes rate upto 70%, even though nobody is opposes the Government. Just pay.
For example, Ontario's politicians before election they had promised people about not to increase any TAX but after election they introduced new TAX for Ontario Heath. But no body is ready to oppose Government.
It's one kind of BLACKMAILING with new immigrants and totally opposite to HUMAN rights.
The same thing is doing now USA with H1B applicants, who has filled their Greencard applications.
Here No value for Human relationship.
