most awaited KANK relased today ...it has mix3ed reviews..some rate it as 4/5 and some as 2.5/5,,,
for those who missed it
Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna centers on the budding romance between Dev and Maya, who are both married to different people. Settled into a life of domestic ritual, and convinced that they are happy in their respective relationships, the protagonists still yearn for something deeper and more meaningful, which is precisely what they find in each other. From a relationship starting off in pleasant barbs, the two begin to develop and acknowledge the feelings they have beneath the surface. When their feelings come to the forefront, what results is a collision of lives and emotions, affecting everyone involved and changing them forever.

Ram Gopal Varma recently commented on Kabhi Alvida na Kehna recently. He said,"I am desperately waiting for KANK because I love horror films."
Karan Johar has left RGV far behind. Its the best horror film ever. He could probably make it as the most boring filmmaker ever. Just because Mr Johar himself is gay, he thinks it serves his purpose to do a take on the" "institution of marriage."" And what exactly does he know about it? N-O-T-H-I-N-G!
KJ's message is "If you are having small fights at home, start looking outside for your soulmate and break your home." I don't know which moon does he live on. Gayland probably! But does he realise that 70% of marriages are arranged. And marriage is not a candy floss love story where everything is flashy, overdressed and new yorky. It involves a lot of commitment, adjustment and sacrifice. I look at my parents and I understand what is marriage! 30 years of devotion and love for each other, unconditionally!!!
The movie is horrible. The only saving grace is Amitabh(playing a tharki oldie), Abhishek as well as Priety Zinta(owner of a fashion magazine) whose characters are well sketched. Abhishek takes the cake. I am sure he will win a lot of praises for his role but he needs to shave regularly. He carries his trademark stubble through his marriage too. At the end of the film one would have sympathies for Preity as well as Abhishek and only a "middle-finger-dikhao" feeling for Rani & Shahrukh.
Seriously STAY AWAY from this one!!! A waste of time and energy.

KJ movies are hyped. They do big time marketing and PR. And desis fall for it. Even KKKG was a horror movie. What does KJ know abt marriage and family? Not much.
He claims that the idea fo the story came when he wsa listening to an argument in a cafe in London. Yeah right!
