hey i m studiying at york university as an international student.
I want to transfer to USA. I got admission there in USA.
So can i apply from usembassy toronto for student visa as i had previously applied through mumbai consulate before 18 months.
Please advice me

Yes you may apply in Toronto.

Hi,

I dont think you can apply for student visa from Toronto. The US laws have changed for student visa processing and one can apply only from his country of Origin or Citizenship. You might have to go to India and apply. Before making any deceision pls do consult a US immig lawyer. As of my knowledge I dont think u can apply from Toronto.
