Hi ! Members ,

I found couple of interesting pronunciation websites I thought to share with you.

The first one gives a recorded sample of the different ways English speakers from all over the world pronounce words.

The second one is a link to a site where you can download \\\"SuperMemo\\\". SuperMemo, a computer program for learning how to pronounce words. You create your personal database of items and the program tests you on them.

More than all good communication good heart is needed..no matter what u communicate but if u really feel for that guy .....that is what more important...not neccessary that it may give result at that moment but it will yeild fruits later........... undersatnd the deeper significance of communication.

Murthy, Please..we are not debating about a philosophical issue here. We are not concerned if the Guy/gal is good at heart or not. This is beyond the scope of the discussion. What SW has pointed out is quite relevant. I made a passing reference to this when I wrote down my thoughts in the sticky thread of the "Study" section.

SCHOOL is always SCHOOL and not ISKOOL !...Period... (However, some senior desis in the forum took umbrage at that !)

No one is going to look at my heart when they want to hire me..they will look at my conversational skill. If I do not have that, then I am sorry I do not stand a chance.

Just a piece of advice...You have written some sentences that do not convey any meaning. Can you please rephrase those statements ? I know what you are trying to convey, but that does not mean the person reading your message will get that meaning !

I do like poking fun at my language, but the joke is lost when it comes monotonous !

OK tell me what do u meen by excellent communication skills.Can u define it.
well dont think people are looking at your speaking skills well if you are thinking so ..... i pity you.Tell me can u speak in front of an audiance and capture the audiance by your talk...well thats what i call as communication skills and i am sure none of you can do it...you got ur jobs because u have those blessings from the lord...so i think u better realize that...... Great peoplei n the world never communicate... they create waves when they arrive at that place..Mother Teresa was not a great communicator.....so realize that..Just becos u got bad english no one hires.......I challenge anyone on the candian desi web site who has got good english...did u ever take TSE I ie test of spoken english u will know where u stand...if u think ur great in that...common give me a break....... u have bleesings u have made it if youcan pray for that guy that will be graeat......ok
