I ve seen the previous thread regarding the graduation details which is a very useful thread. Thought of starting another thread for the students who wish to get into the good Business schools in Canada.


Can any one post details about the good business schools in canada especially specializing in Finance Programs. How to get into the scholorship/Aid/Admissions. Minimum score required for GMAT, Fees details,useful resources available in net etc for the international students and Permanent residents.

How are you guys managing the challenge of a 3 years bachlors Degree wheras most universities are asking for a 4 years bachlors degree.

This is a known problem with 3 yrs bachelors degrees from India. When you come to North America with a 3 yrs undergrad degree from India, you are in a limbo because you have an undergrad degree but it is not recognized as they don't have 3 yrs degree courses in North America. On the UofT website, they have comparision chart for the North American degrees vs degrees from countries worldwide. They show that a MSc degree equals to a 4 yrs BSc or BEng degree.

I am not sure what could be a solution to this problem. Is there anyone here who got accepted in a well know MBA course with a 3 yr undergrad degree from India?

By the way, I have a 3 yr Bachelors in Computer Science from SP Uni, VVNagar. I am living and working in Toronto for the last 4 years and recently got my citizenship, not sure if that makes any difference.
