Query about Citizenship Duration

Hi all,

Wish to know how long it will take to get Citizenship test as its been already 9 1/2 months since I applied for citizenship. I do know rules have changed and it will take 12 months for me to know my processing status and anywhere between 15 to 18 months to secure the citizenship. Please suggest.

I wish to know weather they will stop the processing of my aplication if I Inform Citizenship authorities regarding my long visit to India because of my inetrnship offered in India? Or will they only hold my interview Test and still carry on with my file processing in my absence in Canada?

processing will continue. eligibility is determined at time of submission of application.
