dear sir , i have completed my computer engeneering from mumbai and have already applied to U.S universities , i will go to the states if i get a visa ,
after coming to the states i am planning to stay back .
according to you what are the legal options that i can use for doing the same

Do you mean overstay the duration of your visa and never go back.
There are several legal ways to continue staying in the US after you complete your education -
1. Get a job with a company that will sponsor your H-1B visa.
2. Continue with your student status and go into research with a university.
After a point, you will be eligible to apply for H-1B not subject to the annual cap (which is a pain).
In due course, you will be able to sponsor your own Green Card under the Specialised Skill category.
Or your employer/university can also sponsor you.
If you work for a private corporation, they can also sponsor you for a Green Card.
