Should we have a new thread where you are going to lay down some constructive topics? Even Mercury has done that one time or another.

What about you and KAP? Rest assured...I will support you in this matter :)

DTC,
We could play this game forever :). Anger is not the feeling I have. Pity is more like it :)

I don't think so. Your language suggests otherwise.:)

Thats a welcome change from when we were told (by you) that personal opinions and experiences have no place on this board.

Please read that post again. I had not suggested prohibition on ALL personal opinions and experiences. To quote from what I had said earlier:
"It is wrong to discuss or give unrestrained personal opinions on a public message board, on sensitive and delicate issues like job prospects, opportunities, odds and chances of failures or success for potential immigrants etc. etc."
Please note the use of words like "unrestrained", "sensitive", "delicate" and the context.

Yes I do see a lot of constructive things in GIGs post. I've already said that 'selling ones abilities' is what I really identify with.

Who does not know that already?? Anyone with even minimal education knows that? I do not understand what makes it so "constructive"??

Yo! All i have been doing is Zen. However, you have the right to think what makes you feel good :)

It was a view that I expressed. It was not accepted. Fine by me.
And in which case, I too will continue to opine.

Good! We have that settled. :) . So GIG is free to opine too.

knowing something and applying is not the same thing. If repetition is not constructive to you...please tune out :). Maybe others may gain something. I know I do.

Thats really good. I'm so glad that you did not worry about unduly influencing others when you wrote that post(as wisernow) as you did when you later started that 'blood on you hands' post by DTC.
I knew you were a wise one. Hope future posts can be constructive too.
See?...alls well that ends well :)

He applied the same tips that he gave. i.e: he sold his abilities using the methodology he has described. If you did not find it constructive...please tune out :).

This is where we differ. Basically I give him the benefit of doubt. Just like I do to you. I guess its a matter of perspective. I do not think he is a liar.
So basically its your word against BL. I know BL well enough and if I had to say one of you is full of shit...its you bud..especially when it comes to integrity. The whole wisernow/DTC modes leaves a lot lacking in that department(even though you did talk to BL about it...your posts as wisernow and DTC were a bit too disconnected according to me) . Thats just me! I still give you the benefit of doubt tho!

I am sure who are you and why u are not replying straitforward.

Kap,

As a moderator, I could have asked BL and most probably, he would have told me on a professional ground, rather than personal friendship, who GiG is, but I did not ask him for obvious reasons.

However, I would like to hear from you who this person is, since you seem to be very sure about his identity. And if you can give me the name, I will impartially let you know the details of the person, because most probably, I would personally know him too!

Hi,

More then enough constructive tips for new immigrants for success are available on canadiandesi.com.

Now, there is a need of specific field wise constructive tips and for that I always send PM who is related to my field. Even I sent them my resume and latest contact details of agencies and other tips.

R u believed that success stories would really help the new immigrants? But I am not.

There are very few success stories, which have constructive things, and that would help the new immigrants. But most of them are showing how am I cleaver, so I got job and other haven’t. (Indian mentality)

Regards,
