Hello masoodji,
I applied for PR at CIC Delhi under skill cateogry in March2002. So far i haven't heard anything from them. In the mean time i got H1b visa in March 2004 and i am in US since then. Now my family is also relocating and there won't be anybody in India except for my vacant home. Is it advisable/neccessary to inform them about my relocation and new job details? Will I be asked to transfer my file to US or should I transfer my file in US which, i fear, will put me at the end of the Queue? Please advise since I applied on my own without seeking services of immigration lawyer (which i regret!!) .
Best Wishes,
Picaso
You have to advise the embassy of your address change and new circumstances. They will most probably NOT transfer your file unless you specifically ask [that too is very discretionary].
