Hello All,
What are the current in demand software skills in Canada?
I have one or two months free time before landing from India,like to utilise this time in acquiring & furthering my software skills based on your suggestion.I am Oracle DBA with dataware housing tools experience and also exposed to bit of peoplesoft financials&HRMS.
Based on the current demand, I would like to focus on my efforts.

I would advice you to concentrate more on DataWarehouse and Peoplesoft and if possible upload your resume to http://www.fernstevens.com/Itc.html (I figured out open positions for Peoplesoft and datawarehouse)I personally know CEO of that consulting company
Also post resume to http://www.iml.com/
In resume provide a Canadian Address (your friend's address sgould be fine)

Hi Vencatcan,

Its OK for you. Dont be worry. Market is good for Oracle DBA but you should have OCP in DBA track, without fail.

If you want to wider your scope then upgrade your profile with 9iAS adminstration thing.

Let me know if you u need any help in searching job. I m working as Oracle Apps DBA.

I am oracle8 & 8i OCP certified DBA. Is it require to get ocp 9i certification.
Please suggest!!!

I am oracle certified DBA in 8&8i. Not upgraded to 9i. Is it required to be 9i OCP DBA.Please suggest some useful sites for job search in toronto in the field of oracle.
